Claim Batches

Claim batches provide an export of all your claims in our system for each day. Ideally, you would download this claim batch and import it into your own system. From there you can upload an acknowledgement import to sync the claims between our system and yours.

Structure

The claim batch CSV follows a particular format in its export. You can see that the top level items are claims, identified by a claim_id in column 1. This claim_id is the 'root' for the rest of the related items. All notes, parties, and exposures will belong to a particular claim, based on the corresponding claim_id.

Types Note

The available types are claim, note, party, and exposure.

Claims

Claims will be identified by the type of 'claim' and have the following structure:

claim_id,type,status,claim_number,claim_office,claim_amount,loss_timestamp,loss_address1,loss_address2,loss_city,loss_state,loss_description,underwriting_company,deductible_waived_flag,deductible_amount,statute_date,created_at,updated_at

Notes

Notes will be identified by the type of 'note' and have the following structure:

claim_id,type,note,security_type,topic,note_timestamp,author

Parties

Parties will be identified by the type of 'party' and have the following structure:

Exposures will be identified by the type of 'exposure' and have the following structure:
